The Krikit manual tension gauge helps you to set the optimum belt tension for drives with V-ribbed belts up to a tensile stress of 70 kg. The Optikrik tension gauge offers a simplified method of measuring the pre-tension force of V-belts if the technical data is unknown and the optimum tension can't be calculated. The Conti® VSM-1 tension gauge enables you to take measurements without interference, even in noisy environments, thanks to an optoelectronic measuring method. Thanks to the flexible sensor arm, non-contact measurement is also possible in places that are difficult to access.
Belt drives should function as smoothly and for as long as possible. This requires optimum installation and good maintenance. Belts and pulleys must match perfectly and the drive belts must have the correct pre-tension.
